Lamparter to the second win in Ruka – PCR was used as Ski Jumping part
Austrian Johannes Lamparter took his second win of a Ruka World Cup weekend. Due the heavy wind ski jumping was cancelled and results from yesterday´s reserve competition remained.
24-year old austrian left skiing first and kept his place until the finish line. German Julian Schmid was second and Thomas Rettenegger also from Austria finished third.
The best finnish athlete, Ilkka Herola, was in a 12th place after reserve competition, but finished finally in a fifth place in today`s competition.
– I was a bit disappointed that there wasn´t chance to get better place to skiing, but after all I`m quite satisfied to this result, Herola said after the race.
Last Nordic Combined competition of Ruka will take place tomorrow at 10 am, when 10 kilometres mass start is raced and ski jumping can hopefully be jumped at 2 pm.
