Harri Keskiaho, Secretary General of Ruka Nordic and CEO of the company, is stepping down from his role as of 1 June 2026. Preparations for the event are well under way and work continues according to plan. The Board of Ruka Nordic Oy and the Finnish Ski Association, as the company\u2019s owner, are supporting the operational team during the transition period. Work to arrange the duties of the Secretary General has already begun, and decisions will be announced as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

– I would like to thank Harri Keskiaho for his work for the event, both as a long-time cross-country skiing enthusiast and as Secretary General for almost the past year. The development of the event has progressed, and we look to the future with confidence. We have an excellent production team in place, and the preparations for the 25th anniversary event are in professional hands, says the Chair of the Board of Ruka Nordic Oy,\u00a0Sirpa Korkatti.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– It has been an honour to serve as Secretary General of Ruka Nordic and CEO of the company. I would like to warmly thank everyone I have had the pleasure of working with on developing the event. I would especially like to thank the local Kuusamo crew as well as our partners and stakeholders, whose contribution is extremely important to the success of the event. I wish Ruka Nordic every success in the years to come, says Harri Keskiaho.<\/p>\n
